Open Source + Craft Conference Deadlines

Open Source Hardware Association in partnership with Eyebeam Art + Technology Centre are organizing the Open Hardware Summit 2012 to take place at Eyebeam in New York City September 27, 2012. Submission for talks, posters, and demos on the topics of: Digital fabrication; Soft circuits; Wearables and fashion tech; On demand manufacturing; Distributed development; Software design tools; DIY technology; Business models and more…. are being accepted until May 31.  Eyebeam has a long and rich history of supporting wearable technologies and practices with production and presentation. In Gothenburg, Sweden, Crafting the Future: 10th European Academy of Design Conference will take place April 17-19, 2013. The conference is accepting papers on: Designing Future Mobility; Design Development of Future Homes for Future Cities; Fashion Design for Sustainability; Power to the People: Practices of Empowerment Through Craft and more. This conference is sure to be a highlight in the world of future-forward design agendas from environmental to fashion practices!
